The frontend is the product, so the visual identity is a thesis: temperature is intelligence.
The thesis
A star's color is its heat. In Solaria, effort renders as temperature: a subagent's heat is literally its color, from idle ember to working gold to max-mode white-hot. Not one accent on black, which is the generic crypto-dark default we rejected, but a continuous blackbody ramp.
One color sits outside the ramp on purpose. Cold cyan-white is reserved for a single event: onchain settlement. Hot gold is the swarm thinking; cold blue is the proof.
Color
The blackbody palette, as shipped in the design system.
- bg#0a0a0cbackground, near-black canvas
- ember#c2410ccoolest active work, low effort
- gold#e6a94dthe brand mid-tone, primary accent
- gold-bright#ffd98ahigh effort, max-mode highlight
- ink#f2ecddtext, warm parchment
- ink-dim#8c8578secondary text
- settle#9fd8ffonchain settlement, the only cold thing
Type
Three deliberate roles. The serif-over-mono tension is the personality: ancient name, machine pulse.
- Display and wordmark: Instrument Serif. High-contrast, a little uncanny. The imperial, colosseum gravitas.
- Telemetry and labels: Space Mono. Tabular and instrument-like. Everything numeric and systemic.
- Body: system grotesk. Used sparingly; the site is mostly viz and HUD.
Layout
Full-bleed corona, with the HUD framed into the corners like a heads-up instrument: wordmark top-left, live telemetry along the bottom, the onchain proof line in settle-cold. The center always belongs to the corona. Boldness is spent there; everything else stays quiet and disciplined.
